Turning his gaze back on Camille, his brows rose as he watched a redness spread across her oddly delicate features. His head tilted as he recalled memories of seeing such reactions in humans, and a smile again graced his lips. "You are embarrassed. My apologies." Raising his fists to plant them on his hips, he nodded as he looked off into the distance. "A poor sap I shall find, then. Oof!" Turning glimmering golden eyes down on her, he stared at her for a long moment after she'd punched his arm. "I'd advise against that sort of thing."
Taking a breath then, he began to follow after her, his eyes following where she pointed. All too jolly was he as he traipsed along behind her, appearing as if he might burst into laughter or worse, song at any given moment. "This world is grand and beautiful! Much like mine! Is your life here a happy and prosperous one, Camille? I cannot imagine it being otherwise!" His clueless grin left his face as she mentioned a burning question, nodding as he waited for her to continue. When finally she had spoken it out loud, his steps slowly and he peered downward. "You mean...do we have the necessary appendage for reproduction?"
Clearing his throat, he stepped forward, again grinning. "There have been tales of my brethren travelling to the mortal world and laying with them, creating abomination children that my father sought to end before they could spread and cause chaos. Do you think it possible that we could create life without the necessary tools, Camille? We are not our father."
His hand extended once more toward that wicked grin, seeking the tender jawline and cheek that lay at it's side. Two fingertips, given that she didn't jerk from his touch, would slide beneath strands of lavender to caress her cheek and hold it for a moment. "You do not wish to lay with an angel, do you Camille? The child we bore would be quite unclean. I thought you sought a drink."
